Art Walk & Poetry at Wynwood Walls
Join Miami Poetry Club for an inspiring evening where visual art and spoken word meet at the world-renowned Wynwood Walls.
Surrounded by monumental murals created by some of the world's most celebrated street artists, participants will explore the vibrant energy, creativity, and storytelling that have made Wynwood Walls a global destination for artistic expression. Through guided prompts and generative writing exercises, writers of all experience levels will write poetry (and prose) inspired by the art, atmosphere, and culture of the neighborhood.
After the workshop, participants are invited to share their writing during an open mic, bringing their words into conversation with the artwork that inspired them.
Whether you're a seasoned poet or simply curious about writing, this experience offers a unique opportunity to slow down, observe, create, and connect with community in one of Miami's most iconic cultural spaces.

The Art Walk invites participants to explore the immersive outdoor galleries of Wynwood Walls, home to large-scale murals by internationally recognized street artists. As you move through the space, you’ll be encouraged to slow down, observe details, and engage with the colors, textures, and stories embedded in each piece.
